About your scores

Not a scientific calculation

Scores come from playful mathematical formulas applied to points on your face, loosely inspired by proportion ideas such as the golden ratio and the Fibonacci sequence. The scores are not a scientific calculation. They have not been validated, they are not objective, and they are not a measure of attractiveness or worth.

What the score is not

• It is not a measure of beauty as other people see it, and not a consensus of anyone's opinion.
• It says nothing about your worth, health, personality, intelligence or value as a person.
• It is not stable or exact. Lighting, camera angle, distance, lens, facial expression, hair and photo quality all change the points found on your face and so the result. Two photos of the same person can score differently, and results can be wrong or inconsistent.

No judgement about any group

• The app does not detect, infer, collect or use race, ethnicity, religion, nationality or any other protected characteristic. The score is calculated only from the positions of points on your face in your photos. The optional gender and age range in your profile are not used to calculate it.
• A low score carries no judgement about you or about any group of people. Fixed proportion rules cannot capture the natural diversity of human faces, and many faces that people find attractive will not match them.
• ZAYC LTD does not endorse any single ideal of appearance.
• We do not tolerate the use of Kinetic Maxxer to harass, mock or demean anyone. Accounts used this way may be closed under our terms.

Whose face you can analyse

• Only your own face, or someone else's with their explicit permission.
• Never a child. The service is for adults aged 18 and over.
• Do not publish or rank other people's scores without their consent.

Suggestions and advice

Skincare, grooming, fitness and surgery-related information in the app is general information, not personalised professional advice. Speak to a qualified professional — for example your GP, a dermatologist or a registered surgeon — before starting any treatment or making changes that could affect your health. Any products or brands mentioned are examples, not endorsements.

If your results make you feel low, or you often worry about how you look, it can help to take a break from the app and talk to someone you trust. These UK services can help:

Feedback, complaints and your data

If a result or any wording in the app feels offensive or wrong, please tell us at support@kineticmaxxer.com — we read every message. You can delete any scan, or your whole account, at any time; see the privacy notice.

Our responsibility

Because the scores are for entertainment, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on them. Nothing on this page limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
